Dianne Morgan's Art & Bio
The return to her native state of Arkansas in 2009 allowed Dianne Morgan the return the creation of beautiful things through her art. Exposed early to the creative process, she works in acrylics, oils and watercolors, but has stopped “fighting my abstract tendencies” and now concentrates on abstract watercolor. The soft, luminous images created by the blending and movement of color just speaks to me of the nature that surrounds us. Dianne owned and operated an art shop in Louisiana where she taught beginner classes, carried art supplies, and showed her own work. She has studied art and attended workshops from nationally and internationally known instructors. The award winning artist is currently a member of the Brush Strokes Fine Art Club in Hot Springs Village and Mid-Southern Watercolorist. She has served as President, Vice President, and Workshop Chairman of Brush Strokes. Paintings by this artist hang in collections in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana and Missouri.
