Linda Fletcher's Art & Bio

Linda Fletcher is a nurse practitioner by vocation but her avocation is pottery and glass. She has always been intrigued by the process of creating. She started sewing as a teenager and advanced through almost every needle art there is from smocking, French hand sewing, embroidery, needlepoint and more. A friend introduced her to pottery in 2000 and she has been mostly handbuilding ever since. She had dabbled in stained glass in the 1990’s but diverted to fused glass 15 years later. She likes that there is still more to learn in each medium. She loves all colors but gravitates to bolder ones. While she loves being a nurse practitioner she looks forward to the time when she can explore her art more. You will often see fish as a theme in her work as she loves to fly fish.
