Marjorie Lambert's Art & Bio

Marjorie Lambert
Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Marjorie and her husband, Bob, set off on an adventurous journey, leaving Santa Barbara by sailboat. They spent several years exploring Central America by sea before eventually settling in Costa Rica, where they built houses. After five years, they felt the pull to return to the U.S. They sold their sailboat and purchased a Mainship Trawler in Florida, navigating through Lake Okeechobee and the Intracoastal Waterway, traveling through Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Eventually, they made Beaufort, South Carolina, their home at a marina. Their love for construction called once again, leading them to build a home on Callawassie Island near Hilton Head. But the spirit of exploration never left them, and soon they set off in their motorhome to discover new places. That journey brought them to Hot Springs Village, where they fell in love with the area and decided to stay—more than 13 years ago. Once settled, Marjorie rediscovered her passion for jewelry making. She cherishes every step of the process—designing, sawing, forging, texturing, soldering, and flame painting. The vibrant colors in her pieces come from natural patinas, not paint, as she uses specialized techniques to bring out stunning hues that give each piece its own unique character. Each piece she creates is truly one of a kind. Marjorie takes great pride in her craftsmanship, ensuring that every piece she makes is something its wearer will cherish for a lifetime. Since all her jewelry is handmade, no two pieces are ever alike, making them as unique as the people who wear them.
