I am a mixed-media/acrylic artist that lives between homes in Glenwood Arkansas and Shreveport, Louisiana. I have a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and am a self-taught artist. I discovered my talent for painting as a young child but after retiring from Hospice healthcare management my creativity with art blossomed. As a young child, I was taught by my artistic mother that being creative equaled happiness. “A day without being creative is a boring day!”
I am inspired by color, texture and movement. My paintings evoke a sense of emotion and are highly energetic and thought provoking. My goal is for each of my pieces to speak to the soul and create a connection between myself and the consumer.
Often times, my best works are when I do not think too intently about the outcome but let my creative juices flow in the moment.

Even though I do enjoy painting representational art with a hint of whimsy, I gravitate more towards abstract conceptual paintings. My current series in process is called Divine Interconnectedness. These pieces are highly vibrational and spiritual. The pieces focus on the oneness of the universe within and are depicted by interwoven connections of color and textures.
