Artists' Workshop Gallery is a  cooperative art gallery owned and operated by thirty three local artists. We offer a wide variety of artwork including oils, acrylics,  watercolor, ink, graphite,  pastel, collage, mixed mediums and photography.  Our gallery also features fabric art, pottery, glass works, journals, jewelry, note cards, miniature paintings and sculpture. We have art for every budget, from reasonably priced original works to inexpensive prints and notecards. Many of the artists accept lay-away and commissions for artwork. Our gallery is staffed by the member artists who often work their craft during gallery hours.  We invite you to come in, say hello, browse our artwork, and watch the artists at work.

Congratulations Georgia!!

Georgia Chastain's “Good Morning”, a pastel, was selected as first place among members of Arkansas League of Artists in June. It was displayed in Little Rock’s Art Group Gallery in July, where it was sold.

Daryl Wedwick is a retired Professor of Theatre, and has designed scenery and lighting for some 200 stage productions.  Upon his retirement from academia, Wedwick was able to develop his own artistic style: one that blends whimsical doodling with watercolor.  His playful compositions often include visual puns and stretch the viewer’s imagination, inviting delight rather than deep introspection. Wedwick continues to refine his craft through workshops with national and international instructors. As Wedwick says of his works, “They are simply fun things to see.”

Joe Wilcox is originally from Michigan and is a self-taught oil painter whose journey into art began as a form of therapy.  After he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, he faced serious health challenges, including a kidney transplant and double leg amputation. Wilcox found healing and purpose in painting.  His vivid landscapes, painted using a wet-in-wet technique, capture the beauty of Arkansas and the nostalgia of his Michigan roots.  Wilcox has created a distinctive, recognizable style all his own. Each canvas is completed while the canvas is wet, giving his work a fresh, fluid energy.  Wilcox currently serves as President at Artists’ Workshop Gallery.
